Lily Grehan (Mrs. Partlet) – A lover of music since childhood, Lily spends the majority of her days engrossed in singing, playing, teaching and directing music!
From Chicago, Illinois, she holds two degrees in Voice and Opera and has sung over 40 leading roles on stages throughout the Midwest, Southern and Northeastern states, having toured the US in nine opera and choral tours. Her favorite roles have included Susanna, Despina, Nedda, Sophie, Micaela, Mimi, Norina and Gilda, to name a few and her most recent roles with the Gilbert and Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island include Dame Carruthers in Yeomen and Ruth in Pirates.
At present, she is immensely enjoying her job as Organist/Choir Director for the United Methodist Church of Kings Park and revels in tirelessly teaching and encouraging her many beloved voice and piano students in the Smithtown, LI area! This is her seventh joyous season singing the works of Gilbert and Sullivan and she would like to thank her beautiful and talented daughter Valerie for all her love and support; thanks, too, to all her friends and colleagues in the company who sustain the fun of it all; and a special thanks to Gayden Wren for his foresight and that much needed shove!
