Devon Huhn Brady (Zorah)—Devon is a lyric soprano currently living in Bellmore, New York. Devon has had the privilege of singing with the Opera Company of Brooklyn, Pocket Opera of New York, Amore Opera and recently sang Second Lady with the New York Lyric Opera Theater. For the past two summers she has worked with Nico Castel’s New York Opera Studio and the Midwest Institute of Opera, where she sang one of her favorite roles to date—First Lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte—under the baton of Metropolitan Opera conductor Joshua Greene. Devon is a graduate of Hofstra University and The Boston Conservatory, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in music education and her Master’s Degree in voice performance. Devon was a recipient of the William Rosencrans Award for Vocal Excellence at Hofstra University, where she studied under the tutelage of Australian soprano Donna Balson (with whom she currently studies). Devon previously sang the role of Pitti-Sing in GaSOLCoLI’s 2012 production of The Mikado.
